I am a Senior Lecturer (Associate Professor) in the Department of Economics at the University of Essex and a Research Fellow at IZA. My primary research interests include Development Economics, Labour Economics, and Education. 

I am also the Director of Postgraduate Taught Studies at the Economics Department in Essex.
